Image used in National UK newspaper
Sold one of my favourite images of around the Norfolk Broads last week to a national UK newspaper, a sunday paper through the photography agency Alamy. So that was a good start to the day seeing that in my Alamy profile!
Here’s the image that sold:
Right, I must get back to finishing a book on Blurb..
Thanks,

Long exposure of the ocean – Seychelles
This is probably one of my favourite images I have taken, perhaps because when I was there I had an amazing time, the colours and light was fantastic. I was using a ND filter, with my 10-20mm Sigma lens on my 40D, as well as a polariser. I think it was about a ten second [...]
Staring at the Moon
Staring at the moon in a cloudless night in the Seychelles.
I just can’t ever take enough pictures of the moon, I don’t exactly know what I’m looking to achieve.. there is just something interesting about seeing it a little bit more up close.
ISO 500, Sigma 70-300 APO DG @ 288mm, 1/640 @ f/5.6 Canon 40D
Sense of calm
Another pic drawn from the untouched archives, I love the sense of calm, with a long exposure to smooth everything out – allowing the colours to shine through. Love it. Taken at the end of a pier in the Seychelles.
13sec @ f/22, Sigma 10-20 @ 10mm, Cokin ND8
Feeling small
Here’s a photo I had completely forgotten about until I happened to be looking for something else whilst browsing through Lightroom, I took this whilst in the Seychelles earlier in the year – I just love the angle and the bright colours, reminds me of being back there. 125/sec f8 Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 40D
Poi photograpy (fire spinning)
Messing around at a friends party this weekend, and got the chance to photograph Poi (fire spinning).
I hadn’t given it much thought, and it was quite late on in the party.. so I had already become a little intoxicated, so please forgive my first attempts!
I had my Sigma 10-20mm on my 40D with a Speedlite [...]
Cokin Filters – Gear Review and tests
Hello again, has been a while since I last posted.
I thought i’d write a little about Cokin filters I’ve been using for the last 8 months or so with my Canon 40D, primarily attached to my Sigma 10-20mm lens, which I love – it’s hardly been off my camera since I bought it many months [...]
